The Verge:
The “next-gen upgrade” for this year’s Quake remaster, which adds support for up to 4K / 120fps gameplay, is now available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The upgrade is available for free, according to Bethesda, and there’s no time limit to redeem it. The PC version of the game isn’t getting the upgrade, since it already supports 4K / 120fps.

Games Radar:
Urquhart continued to reveal that this publisher wanted to acquire Obsidian with a view to moving all their staff over to their ongoing game, which they were struggling to hire people for. This, Urquhart says, is what ultimately led the developer to turn down the acquisition offer, as it "has to be a cultural fit," and "they have to be people you can sit down and have a beer with, and if they're not, well maybe you have to reconsider."

Sources familiar with internal plans have reached out to us in recent months offering details on Avowed, moving through pre-production towards a playable alpha state. Indeed, Obsidian is likely close to having a working early version of the game, with many mechanics and core gameplay pillars already implemented. I can't be sure how old some of the footage I've seen is, and there's a good chance it's far further along.
