Blasphemous 2 Lets Play 15: Labyrinth of Tides
We quest to find the entrance to the next Dove-Dungeon, and eventually find our way down into the Labyrinth of Tides. It is a bit of a puzzle to navigate, but we have a bit of luck with us and kind of naturally gravitate in the right directions.
In the caves we come across the Compass of the Stranded, a rosary decoration that gives us a huge boost to miasma resistance.
Then we find a chest with the Pillager statuette inside. This figurine reduces our dodging cooldown, which has a lot of potential to be worked into our regular loadout.
We also grab the Tears of Sap, for our sculpting friend to use on his work.
Next, we stumble across Regula, who is tasked with holding the entrance to a forgotten shine open while the caverns crumble around her. We run around and find a back door, but poor Regula gets crushed in a cave-in. The shroud she wore, which has its own history, is found where her face once was, and we pop it onto the statue she worshipped, who then gives us her blessing, which has no tangible value.
Moving along, we pick up a new quick verse prayer: Serrana of the Kindled Hearth. We can now pray up a flamethrower! But, uh, the next area has a lot of fire resistance, so it doesn't help much at present.
Finally, we enter the new dungeon: The Severed Tower. Everything in here loves fire, and hates us.
In an arena room, we nab the Imprint of Scalopendra, which gives us a massive boost to fire resistance.
To wrap up the episode, we swing back to town and give the Sculptor, whose name is Montanes, his final material, and his work is complete! Now, he is taking a nap while his daughter takes his place in his shop.
