3In Rimworld Alpha 8 we will battle not only raiders, sieges but most of all weather conditions. We are starting in the middle of the winter and will have to do our best to survive against the toughest weather conditions. Temperatures are dropping way below freezing, there is no where to grow food, and going outside for longer than few minutes is suicide.
Rim world is space sim colony driven by intelligent AI storyteller. Story begins as the 3 survivors from crash ship land on hostile outer space planet. Over time of the game they will work towards building initial shelter and expanding their colony. This amazing game was created by Tynan Sylvester from Ludeon Studios and collected over $250,000 on kickstarter.
Recently Ludeon studio aunaucend that Rimworld sold over 50 000 copies of the game and with Alpha 8 comunity is expected to grow even more.

Rimworld is in at early alpha stage currently at alpha 8 release of the game. In this complex sim, strategy and tactics game you are charged with leading your initial colonist to survive initial struggles of harsh planet, expand your base and eventually build spaceship to get out of the planet you are stranded on. During that time you will have to keep your people happy by providing the with food from nutritious pasta dispenser to start with progressing to cooked meals. You will hunt animals, grow your own food in farming fields and you can even cannibalize and eat flesh of your enemies although your pawns won’t be happy about it. Apart of basic food needs you colonist all come with different skill sets and will use them to benefit you establishment.
During a game you will have to fight raiders, tribal enemies and different faction. you will be able to trade with slave, weapon, industrial traders. Improving wealth of your colony. Storyteller will make sure to skale challenges accordingly so the game is difficult at all stages and will keep you engage at all times. .

With Rimworld alpha 8 there has been some important changes to the game.
Temperature and seasons
A new temperature system tracks temperatures indoors and outdoors.
Characters can get hypothermia, frostbite, heatstroke, or burns from being in extreme-temperature areas.
Certain clothing can protect against temperature discomfort/harm.
Temperature changes daily and on a yearly cycle according to where you are on the planet. There are distinct seasons.
There are special heat wave/cold snap events.
Added heater and cooler buildings.
Food spoils. This can be slowed or prevented with refrigeration.
Snow falls and accumulates over winter. It slows down movement.
Snow can be cleared manually, and will melt if heated.
New apparel: Parka and tuque.
Added new biomes: boreal forest and tundra
