Hello friends and welcome back to a new video. When we first started I told you I was a serial restarter, but even I didn't think we would be doing a new campaign this fast. But when I read that comment it really sat with me. I got caught up in streaming as the older guy that hasn't played Civ V in years and who was new to the mod. It gave the wrong impression. It came off too much lovable loser when in fact in the realm of PC strategy games I am more like an affable killer. ;)
So join me as I start my last Civ V campaign for a while, my last because I WILL PLAY IT TO COMPLETION in glorious victory. We went with the Portuguese this time to take advantage of what appears to be an amazing bonus. This will be our usual epic campaign on a HUGE map, but this time we just play with the regulation amount of civs and city states.
Come watch to see how my aggressively wide style works in the face of a punishing unhappiness mechanic. Will we be able to make our citizens joyous in the face of Barbarian raids, homicidal neighbors, hello Atilla, and ridiculous work requirements (we need those tile improvements people, they wont build themselves).
