Both systems line doubled with ossc (using optimal timings) to get best possible image quality with my equipment. Dreamcast uses VGA cables always when game supports it while PS2 is using component cables
Keep in mind this is not meant to be any kind of proof which system had better graphics, many of games that released for both are ported to ps2 often not taking full advantage of ps2 hardware. Still I think it's interesting to see how they compare in games for both systems
