Overall my experience has been mixed. The times it works, it works great! And the times it doesn't...well it is very frustrating. Any updates from Elgato I will post below!

***UPDATE 7***
FINALLY! After 30 days of silence a Manger finally got a hold of me after calling in. They were able to ship me out a replacement device from Hong Kong since there was no stock here in the US. I can officially say so far after a week(ish) of testing it hasn't had a single problem! I will most likely do an update video once I put it through some more testing.

***UPDATE 6***
Today is June 16th. I have not heard from Elgato since May 28th. I have responded to the email once a week asking for an update. Then asking for a return method for a refund. So far no response. I have filed a claim with my credit card company since I was under my 30 day return policy after in contact with them for 15 days.

***UPDATE 5***
On May 27th Elgato informed me they currently had no stock for RMA. I would either have to wait or I could send mine in ahead of time for replacement. I responded on the 28th saying I would return mine ahead of time to make the exchange easier.

***UPDATE 4***
On May 15th Customer service said they were going to get an RMA started. Seven days later they have not notified me of anything else.

***UPDATE 3***
On May 4th I reached back out to customer service since I had not heard form them in 9 days. They quickly responded saying I needed to update the 4K capture utility and update my .Net framework. Since this issue has nothing to do with SD card capture I responded to get a replacement device they offered.

***UPDATE 2***
On April 25th Elgato support had me run the Elgato Reporting Tool and send them the file on the same day. Stating I should hear back from them in 1-3 days.

***UPDATE 1***
On April 22nd I attempted to capture directly to a windows PC (and not to an SD card) and I was able to capture for exactly 3 minutes and 3 seconds) before the capture card lost signal and back on again.
