Hey everyone, in this week's video I decided to just have some fun as communist France since I haven't really played with the la resistance communist tree before. I make a mistake in the beginning where I accidentally build military factories instead of civilian factories for about 2 years but to be honest this just makes it more enjoyable because it gives me quite a challenge against Germany when my economy isn't nearly as big as it should be in 1940. Germany pushes quite far into France and we even lose Paris but after doing quite a lot of tactical retreats and mobilizing more troops to the front, we eventually get a stalemate against them. However, the new dlc for Hoi4, Arms Against Tyranny, prevents this from being a pure war of attrition since the continuation war starts in 1941 which forces Germany to fight a war against the Soviet Union with Finland while they're grinding their forces down in the western front against me. This is what finally allows us to defeat the Axis and then I go on to conquer Spain, Portugal, and Denmark after this. I also capitulate Japan since it bothers me to be stuck at war at the end of a long campaign.
