How to EASILY Beat Perpetual Mechanical Array in Genshin Impact - Free to Play Friendly!
In this video, I beat Perpetual Mechanical Array without taking any damage as well as talk about the strategy I recommend for beating it.
Perpetual Mechanical Array, henceforth referred to as "Mech Array", is a boss that is incredibly simple but fairly intimidating at first that was released in Genshin Impact's 2.0 update. This boss can be easily beaten if you just stay within mid-long range, however any deviation will cause some minor problems. Melee range has a couple of moves that I would consider annoying to dodge. The sword swipe must be dodged away and to the left, and the Beyblade spin move needs to be dodged later, towards, and to the right of Mech Array.
The main strategy that I'll be recommending is that you use Geo Traveler's rocks to maintain a shield between you and some of its moves as well as using it as an indicator of distance. If you are directly behind the rock, you are too close. If you are too far from the Mech Array, you will not be able to place a rock close enough to damage it. This is the optimal distance. It has two moves in mid-long range that are easy to dodge, and one annoying move to dodge at long range, wherein which is transforms into a cube and will follow you. This is why I recommend staying mid-long.
Aside from the normal mode, the Mech Array has a defensive mode as well. This will happen after a certain amount of time, or after a certain HP threshold. In this phase, he will spawn 4 minions. One of these minions will be highlighted by a ring of runes. This minion is the only one that has an HP bar and is also the only one that can take damage. Kill this minion to make the boss vulnerable. Each minion has its own AoE moves that can make the fight a bit hectic if you get unlucky and the minions use their AoE moves in tandem.
Luckily, this boss doesn't have any sort of healing or final phase mechanic, which means this boss is easily beatable by any player with any amount of DPS.
