Came also out for:\n\nTechnically ZX Spectrum but there are differences, see below.
\n\nGame description:

INVINCIBLE ISLAND is the primitive ancestral home of the mysterious Xaro tribe. Untouched by civilisation, legend tells that these island savages guard the unimaginable treasures of their first great leader, Xaro himself.

Fortunately, you have more than just legend to guide you. Whilst on Invincible Island, Dr. Chumley, the world famous explorer, sent out a last desperate message in a bottle. Amongst his pleas for help and rescue was a vital clue: "First find the Seven Parchments of Xaro". He was never heard of again - perhaps the natives were hungry!

Armed with this information, your quest is to find the seven parchments, which, if Dr. Chumley was right, should lead you to the treasure. But remember: treasure is no use to you unless you can escape with it - alive!

This is a port of the 1983 text adventure "Invincible Island" by Peter Cook for the ZX Spectrum.

Differences (taken from the text file):

Built with MATE - Mancave Adventure Text Engine

I've tried to pack in as much as I can of the original game, although due to memory limitations I've had to reduce some of the content and make some changes as listed below. Despite this, all the locations with their original descriptions are present, as are all but two items. Overall I would say 95% of the original game is present and it retains the same feel as the original.

* Two word parser (slightly simpler commands)
* No graphics (obviously, but on the plus side you dont have to wait 20 seconds every time you move location!)
* No partial text for the parchment - you either can decipher it or you cannot
* No stones or canary items
* You can't eat the food (since you need it to complete the game and its not obvious what to do with it)
* Dingy is not in a package
* Sign can never be translated despite having phrasebook
* No oxygen limit in caves
* Instead of having to 'light torch' to see exits in the cave, you now cannot enter the cave without the torch in your inventory and you cannot drop the torch in the cave
* Frail bridge has no weight limit
* Jewelled altar in temple does nothing
* Sword does nothing
* Killing natives gives same response; They kill you!
* No swarms of natives...
* ...and therefore the skull only serves one purpose...
* No 'cross bridge' or 'enter' (building) commands etc, they are now compass directions (and up/down)
* Some minor text reduction/changes
