What happens when you take Wolfenstein 3D, add some Monkey Island, and then ask George A. Romero for ideas?

I don't know, but I hope it's nothing like how this turned out. Jesus H. tapdancing Christ, what a crock of shit.

Termed as some sort of 'action RPG-FPS', it fails on all fronts. It's tedious, shoddy, the controls are unbelievably bad and unintuitive (not to mention they're hardcoded) and featured on top is some of the most mind-numbingly repetitive music this side of dubstep. Why the fuck am I playing this again?

Oh, right. Halloween. Well anyway, I will say one good thing about this game; as shitty as it is, at least the animations are pretty good. There's supposed to be a small animation when you get killed, but lo! The thing's so shittily coded that having a button pressed at the time of death -- a common enough occurence I imagine, because who is going to be releasing every single key at regular intervals? -- results in said animation being skipped entirely, leaving us with some random mad scientist laughing and rubbing his 256-colour paletted hands together with glee.

Oh, and because a button was still being pressed at the time, his laugh gets cut short. Bravo, developers. Bravo.

This one's certainly a horror show, but for all the wrong reasons.
