Over the past two weeks, I've faced some hurdles as I attempted to dive back into game development. Despite my initial struggle with starting a simple project, like an asteroid game, I quickly realized the importance of revisiting the basics. With determination and perseverance, I successfully completed the "Dodge the Creeps" tutorial, reigniting my passion for game development.
Juggling work commitments and family responsibilities hasn't been easy. As a full-time employee, finding time outside of work hours can be challenging. Add being a busy dad to the mix, and my schedule becomes even more packed. However, I've remained committed to my goal of mastering Godot 4, carving out time for learning amidst my busy schedule.
In the upcoming weeks, I'll be focusing on completing tutorial series by Heartbeat and Clear Code. These resources will not only enhance my skills but also provide valuable insights into the latest features of Godot 4. Additionally, I'll be striving to strike a balance between referencing documentation and actively coding, maximizing my productivity without getting bogged down in unnecessary details.
