My patience pool is running rather low today.

Aren't the fleas on said rats usually the reason someone contracts the plague? Then again getting bitten by a rat carrying the plague seems like a good way to get it too.

Oh as a bonus I read an article where rats may not be to blame for the spread of the plague. More likely to be gerbils. No really, here's the link.
