We resurrect the prince of darkness to slay him once and for all -- just like Castlevania II!

The sword of Damocles hanging over Link's head during Zelda II is that his blood is needed to bring back Ganon, so failure means the end of the world. Hoverbat leaned into this, making the ultimate defeat of Ganon the entire purpose of the second quest, and retroactively the aim of the entire game.

How to accomplish this? Defeat Shadow Link again, this time aided by a special vial given to Link by the now-awakened Princess Zelda, and head to a part of Hyrule only accessible with the Triforce of Courage to scale a tower and bring back Ganon in a weakened state and on Link's own terms. Defeating him will end the cycle, and bring peace to Hyrule. And that's what we're going to do today.
