Not every game that I play for just over one hour is going to get a negative review. Yet again, viewer Hellaenergy supported us with a gift copy of Vampire Survivors by poncle. He wanted to see my hot take on what all the hype was about. Well, it sure as hell confused me for the first few minutes. On the back of the lo-fi breakout roguelike Loop Hero, removing player agency seems to be the in thing. Can you take it too far? At what point do you have a mindless, idle battler? Vampire Survivors settles neatly into the lo-fi rogue action bullet hell space, but does it do so in an entertaining way?
