It was back in 2019 that Microsoft and Ninja Theory first unveiled Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and now, close to five years on from that announcement, the long-awaited action-adventure sequel is finally approaching its release date.

The sequel to a beloved game and Ninja Theory’s first tentpole release as an Xbox first-party, Hellblade 2 has quite a bit riding on it, and expectations have been high – and getting higher still – in the lead-up to its release.
