Somewhat back to basics, dropping the shop and timed escape features from Super Wario 4Tune, focusing instead on more linear levels and progression. It's technically a bigger game, with 16 levels and 7 bosses, and its engine is smooth and efficient, yet it also doesn't add much of note, besides a reappearance of the Dragon Hat from the first Wario Land.
As far as I'm aware, only the demo was released on MFGG; the full game was published in Gamejolt, and it's got some nasty glitches. In some levels you can easily trap yourself by taking a transformation somewhere it doesn't belong, and the Boss Rush and Unknown Cavern 2 cannot be completed by normal means.
The Boss Rush will loop back the 2nd boss after beating Wirio (hence why it's not touched in this video), and the door in Unknown Cavern 2 will spawn Waluigi in the ceiling, trapping him. The latter can at least be circumvented with Cheat Engine, but it's a crummy roadblock in the way of 100% completion.
