Many are the upcoming games that we are all waiting for, from Metroid Prime 4, to GTA VI, to Pokemon Legends Z A. To be optimistic and hoping all these games do well is very reasonable and noble, but to have uncontrollable hype and expecting every upcoming game to be a masterpiece can be harmful both to the players and to the developers. many are the games that were overhyped and failed because there were not able to match unreasonable expectations, even if the games were fairly well made. Publishers will do anything to sell us a dream and we will convince ourselves about a truth we have not even experience, that a game we only saw in trailers is the game of the year. One of these games for me was the first Watch Dogs, perhaps the perfect example of a title that flopped due to Ubisoft's overhype marketing rather than awful quality. Watch Dogs is definitively not an amazing game, but I believe that it gives players an alright experience and was it now for the hype it could have been appreciated more. I hope you will enjoy the video! :)
