Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 Rice Beach
3Finally, I'm able to get to this game! This is Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, the last game in the Super Mario Land series and the first in the Wario Land series. The first game is the only one to retain Mario-esque mechanics such as power ups and a lives system, that all later games would drop. I'm really excited to produce this Let's Play because there's a particular way that everyone and their brother plays it, and there's the way I play it, which I assure you is vastly different from everyone else.
The first world is Rice Beach and introduces us to how the game is played. You'll see immediately that this is DEFINITELY not your typical Mario fare, especially since the first boss is actually a wake-up call boss!
I never actually explained this, but the Game Boy Four pertains to the other Game Boy games I've LP'd before: Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and Donkey Kong 94 were all part of the Game Boy Four. This game happens to be the last of them.
