Matthew Chastney is a British composer and producer, creating soundtracks for film, games, trailers, and releasing music as 'The Dreamless Sleep'. A unique collision of emotive string quartet & piano writing, atmospheric electronic production and innovative sound design forms a style inspired by indie classical and contemporary electronic music. Matthew's music has been described as 'Stunning' by BBC Introducing.
Soundtrack credits include trailers for 'JOKER', 'Chernobyl', 'The Umbrella Academy', 'Ratched' and 'Narcos: Mexico', and original scores for 'Black Fish' and 'Through a Screen Darkly'; two short films that were featured as part of the BBC New Creatives programme, as well as original score, sound design and audio implementation for the video game 'Tin Hearts'.
