I'm that shy nerdy kid that was always doodling in class and I grew up to become the shy nerdy adult that makes professional costumes and props!
I specialize in armor, special effects, and monster suits, with an emphasis on tutorials and fostering a creative community where there are no trade secrets! I use a variety of materials including papercraft, fiberglass, resin, 3D printing (filament and liquid), EVA Foam, sculpting mediums, and more!
During the day, I'm a tenured QA Specialist in the video game industry, with ten years experience working on various AAA titles! There's a lot of games knowledge rattling in this noggin!
The dream is to make costumes, teach people how to extend their creativity no matter the medium, and live comfortably with my dog. Maybe open my own special effects studio some day?
I spend a lot of my time learning and I make it a goal to develop a new skillset with every project!
