Sonic Adventure 2 is the oldest game represented on this album, and also the only one I have any nostalgic connection to. I had a friend when I was little who loved Sonic and we’d play Sonic Adventure 2 Battle at his house many times. The style is very nostalgic, being reminiscent of late 90s/early 2000s punk rock. Musically this song has a penchant for dominant chords, which usually have a bluesy edge. This song is iconic for a reason, being a great example of the type of music 3D Sonic games are known for.
