When looking for music to cover, I searched Musescore for songs from Monster Hunter, a game series I don’t pretend to know anything about. But I found this piece and liked it a lot. My version sounds fairly different from the score for this piece I found, mostly through the instrumentation. I opted to use no bowed strings at all and instead do the fast runs with an organ. Bazelgeuse (pronounced Basil-Juice, which makes this monster feel much less intimidating), is a track divided up into several sections that each sound pretty different but all feel like they belong in the same song. This is not like the character design of Bazelgeuse, where I can barely tell what I’m looking at.
