2016 LEGO Snowglobe Unboxing, Speed Build and Review!
Hi LEGO fans! Here's my Christmas 2016 LEGO Snowglobe 40223 review. I didn't manage to get one of these from the 2016 LEGO Store giveaway so when someone offered me a swap for the 2017 LEGO Nutcracker, I jumped at the opportunity to finally own the 2016 LEGO Snowglobe. In this LEGO Snowglobe review video, I unbox, time-lapse speed build and review the 40223 LEGO Snowglobe set in 4K ultra high definition.
This was a LEGO Store exclusive giveaway set during the Christmas 2016 season and was not available for sale in stores. The 215 piece LEGO Snowglobe features a decorated LEGO Christmas tree and Father Christmas minifigure contained within a five piece transparent LEGO dome. Although LEGO have included white single stud pieces for the snow, this is not a functional snow globe and is not water tight so this is purely for decoration only.
Under the LEGO snowglobe is an intricately decorated base with keepsake draw which is beautifully constructed with drawer runners for smooth operation. The set truly is a beautiful thing and looks great from all angles which makes it prefect to use as a table decoration for a LEGO-themed Christmas dinner table.
The only minor criticism I make in this 40223 review of the LEGO Snowglobe are the seams in the clear plastic dome which somewhat spoil the effect given that one of the seams runs down the front of the snowglobe in front of the LEGO Father Christmas minifigure, but it's a minor flaw in such a great LEGO set.
