For me it was all lighting, always kinda rolled my eyes when people talked ablut it but damn....yea the only problem was my christmas lights i have lining the room, absolutely 0 tracking issues with them unplugged, soon as i plug them in controllers start sticking in the air.....so just check your lighting.

However if you are a fps player or beatsaber fanatic you may wanna add a slightly bigger spring in the controller battery slot that way the battery has less chance to disconnect with you moving the controllers quickly.

Also found that putting just a layer of blue painters tape around the controller will help keep you from accidentally sliding off the cover whilst also not leaving behind any sticky residue when you remove it
