1,101Ferrari's task grew harder on Abu Dhabi Saturday, with Charles Leclerc not making it through to Q3; McLaren-Mercedes, simultaneously, seized the front row of the grid, Lando Norris ahead of Oscar Piastri. Carlos Sainz drove beautifully to finish P3 for Ferrari, ahead of a stunning Nico Hulkenberg (Haas-Ferrari), Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Alpine-Renault's Pierre Gasly. Peter in this video looks back at the key elements of the day and also continues his interview with Pirelli's Mario Isola, who looks ahead to 2025-26.
