32X video hardware problem

This is a video problem that happens when a 32x game has been running for at least 30 minutes or more. I'm guessing the chips are heating up and it's causing this video problem to happen on the left and right sides of the screen. Does anyone know what can be done to keep this from happening?

Also I've had my 32x since 1996 but I never had any 32x games up until a few years ago so I don't know if this problem has been there from the start since I only used it to play genesis games the entire time and the problem never happens since the 32x just works as a pass through for the system so it's chips never got used that 32x games take advantage of.

Also I'm still waiting for the cable I ordered to get here and hopefully it will work so I can record on the genesis with stereo sound since I can't use the headphone jack now.

Really need the money for an Elgato HD60 Pro. The USB 2 version is good but I really want the Pro version to help make pc recording a little better.
