1If you're wondering why streams from the ZaeSMP went on hiatus, this stream shows some of the reasons why. The Zaela SMP updated to 1.20.2, and the results were pretty bad. The XP and Gold farm broke, Samy's trade hall became impossible to finish, and we didn't even get the increase in diamond generation due to chunks already loaded. Updating to 1.20.2 for any given server is definitely not recommended.
The Blaze spawner I was going after in the stream was destroyed as a direct result of the admin griefing, so that entire quest ended up ruining a key source of blaze rods for everyone on the server. The Elder Guardian the admin spawned made that section of near-spawn Nether impassable for new players, but I would later kill it and fix the issue off-stream.
A few days after this stream, the new Elite Mobs plugin would develop bugs and end up removed. An attempt was made to revert back to 1.20.1, but it failed and the server was offline for weeks. To this day, there is an ongoing bug where players can die randomly for no reason due to another plugin malfunctioning.
Definitely a lot to learn from this experience about do's and don't's of running a server. The ZaeSMP went from my main server where I had tons of plans for building and expansion to one I barely log into anymore. I would later the same week play on Coldgyy's new SMP, but I did not stream from it. So this is the last SMP based stream I made before taking a break to do more modpack development.
