Air Force Armament Museum Ruff Road Review

Field Trip! Well, when one of you likes history in general and the other is a military buff and there's a museum nearby with FREE admission- you just have to go there. We did. We took a little drive from our campsite at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park and toured the Air Force Armament Museum. This museum provides real planes and helicopters which were once in service. In addition, there were munitions displays from handheld weapons to large bombs and missiles. There are outside displays and inside more displays covering two floors. You can view aircraft from the WWII era to present day.
What we love about the Air Force Armament Museum:
1. The displays- there's so much information here! We loved seeing the aircraft up close and learning about how it was used.
2. It's FREE! Great information and admission is free.
What we didn't love about the Air Force Armament Museum:
Nothing- We enjoyed our visit and walked away feeling more knowledgeable.
