All Along the Watchtower: "Expelled" Version
Whether you agree with the film or not, Ben Stein's movie, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," had some great music that was produced just for the movie by Steve Ford Music.
An amazing instrumental version of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" played during the intro. It is believed that no other song in history has had more cover performances. Jimi Hendrix's version is generally considered definitive.
There doesn't seem to be any way to buy this music. I looked everywhere. There were other musical pieces in the movie that I wanted to find, but couldn't. I went to http://www.stevefordmusic.com/ and found some of their samples. They had the movie intro, but nothing else from it.
I don't think Steve Ford Music would mind this being re-posted here because you can't buy it, anyone can watch it on the SFM website, and it's basically an advertisement for Steve Ford Music. If I ever produce a movie, I wouldn't hesitate to work with SFM!
I had to do some fancy things to get the original FLV file from the web site and upload it here. I don't know if the music is any higher quality than what comes on the DVD, but it sounds good to me.
