All Fighters Challenge | Pool of Radiance
Step into the Octagon! We play the first half of Pool of Radiance using a party of nothing but Fighters.
Pool of Radiance is an SSI (Strategic Simulations, INC) fantasy RPG released in 1988 that uses the rule set from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition). It is the first game in a series known as the, "Gold Box Games," for their on-the-shelf packaging, which featured a gold cardboard box inside which were the 5.25" floppy disks, manual, and, "translation wheel," required to install and run the game.
This game is basically D&D for one player. I've been playing this game since I was a little kid and I know it intimately, which means you can look at this video and all in the series a walkthrough of sorts. Definitely comment below if you're stuck somewhere and need some advice during your own play-through!
