Ana Mulvoy-Ten “Shae Reese” talks American Crime S3
Exclusive interview with Ana Mulvoy-Ten who plays Shae Reese” on ABC’s American Crime at the Paley Center. Ana joins the cast this season as a runaway that is a modern day sex slave living with her pimp. We spoke about how she researched the role, joining the cast of American Crime and watching the previous two season. Season 3 premiers March 12th on ABC and viewers can watch previous seasons on Hulu or buy DVD/stream online.
This was the first time that Paley Center has produced an event with the ABC limited anthology series American Crime. The series was created by John Ridley, Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar Winner for ‘12 Years a Slave’ (2014) for ABC and over the first two seasons has covered racial bias in the legal system and sexual assault with his co-Producer Michael McDonald. The upcoming 3rd season of the fourteen time Emmy-nominated series will focus on forced labor issues in the agriculture community, economic divides, individual rights, modern day slavery and indentured servitude. The talented ensemble cast has returning and cast members including Felicity Huffman, Connor Jessup, Richard Cabral, Benito Martinez, Ana Mulvoy-Ten and Mickaëlle X. Bizet that will portray how people from various backgrounds approach and react to crime.
