Director Elyas Masrour is a 17-year-old Moroccan-American filmmaker from Long Island, New York. He's worked on everything from short documentaries, to indie features, to animated shorts and fictional podcasts.
Director Statement
My debut film was a short documentary on an endangered species of bird at my local beach. Three years later, I returned to the same beach with more confidence, better skills, and a desire to tell the story of another species in danger- the Horseshoe Crab.
