I set out to make an animation of Shampoo (from Ranma 1/2) standing there looking sad with the wind blowing in her hair. I decided to do detailed shading. It was a lot of work. In the end, I think the result was pretty cool.
Honestly with all the detail I put in there, I could be polishing this animation forever.
This video contains pretty much all the unfinished versions I saved just to document the progress.
