You have never played this version of Apocalypse before!! This is extended gameplay footage of Activision's Apocalypse which was developed internally. In this version Bruce Willis was an AI controlled character who helped you throughout the game. It was an ambitious project that truth be told, the PlayStation probably couldn't handle. Unfortunately most of the internal developers were let go and Activision contracted with Neversoft to start new (Bruce Willis wasn't cheap and Activision didn't want that money spent to go to waste). Using their Big Guns/MDK engine, Neversoft completed the game within 9 months.\n\nWhen Activision revealed Apocalypse at the E3 show, they weren't counting on ASC stealing their thunder. That same E3 show Visual Concepts were showing off their ASC hit title ONE which was similar in design but played and looked much better.
