Arabian culture and astronomy-inspired adventure | Nightscape demo
0Today we're checking out the demo for Nightscape from Mezan Studios in Doha, Qatar. It's a 2.5D adventure game themed around Arabian culture and astronomy which I saw in a recent Next Fest and thought was worth a look. The demo actually drops you into the middle of the game with some light tutorial elements, so fair warning there. The whole of the demo took less than an hour and involved mostly exploration and puzzle solving, with a little light combat on the side. The 2.5D perspective took some getting used to for me, but that's probably as much a skill issue with the player as an actual issue with the game. Overall, I like what I'm seeing and look forward to finding out what form the game takes upon full release. There is no release date mentioned on the Steam page at the moment, so wishlist this one and keep an eye out for it in the future.
