Assassin's Creed III - Sequence 4 - Feathers and Trees and Hunting Lessons
8Feathers and Trees is a simple mission. Though, don't get to far ahead of your friend. There's a part where you need to pull him up when he slips into the river.
After getting the first feather, two others should be already marked on your map. Get them, and then go west to find another near the cliff face.
As for Hunting Lessons, it's a tutorial mission introducing hunting.
Follow instructions until it's time to hunt on your own. Now, the optional objective says to hunt three different species of animal. The problem with that is that hares are disturbingly hard to find in the hunting zone.
To find a hare, your probably better off trying to find one that's being chased by foxes. Otherwise, you'll have to spend some time analyzing clues and hoping that you reach the hare before it disappears from your map (because either it went too far away or got killed by foxes).
One objective asks you to use a snare followed by some bait. Pretty easy. Find a hiding near a fox or foxes but away from deer, set the snare, toss the bait, and wait for a fox to investigate. You'll want to avoid setting up near deer since they can ruin your snares.
Once you have your hare and snared fox, assassinate a deer and then air assassinate any 2 animals.
After you've skinned 5 animals, the mission is pretty much done (if you haven't completed the optional objectives, you will fail them with your 5th skin). A bear will attack you, but it's scripted to run away once you dodge its attack.
Chase after it or head back to the village.
