Atelier Ryza 2's Combat Is Complicated, But Cool | My Favourite Thing In... (Atelier Ryza 2 Review)
The sequel to Koei Tecmo's Atelier Ryza, Atelier Ryza 2 is a JRPG with a combat system that might scare away any potential new fans. But as you can see in this Atelier Ryza 2 gameplay, and as you'll hear in this Atelier Ryza 2 review, Atelier Ryza 2 Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy is good at making new players feel welcome. Watch this video to hear Colm chat to Rock Paper Shotgun staff writer Ed Thorn about how it all works!

While there are a lot of numbers and bars onscreen, as Ed says during this Atelier Ryza 2 review discussion, and as you can see in this Atelier Ryza 2 PC gameplay, you don't really need to concern yourself with a lot of it. Anyone who has experience with the original is sure to get more out of Atelier Ryza 2 Lost Legends and The Secret Fairy 's complicated combat, but newcomers will be able to have just as much fun. Just get smashing and you'll start enjoying yourself. The combat is Ed's favourite thing in Atelier Ryza 2, but if you want to know what he thought of everything else in the game, be sure to have a read of his written Atelier Ryza 2 review on RockPaperShotgun.com (https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/atelier-ryza-2-lost-legends-the-secret-fairy-review)
My Favourite Thing In... is a video series where Colm chats to one of the lovely RPS writers about their absolute favourite thing in a spang new video game they’ve been playing. In some cases, the writer will have to think long and hard about their choice, because the game they’ve been playing mightn’t be that great, while better games will have multiple things for them to pick.
