Avorion 2021: Basic Auto-Mining Tutorial and how to get Started
205Avorion is a Sandbox Survival MMORPG in space with amazing AI capabilities. Today we learn how to set up a basic mining-AI in Avorion and how to get started into the game in general.
Steps for basic automated Mining AI Setup:
1: Gather Iron (orange asteroids) and Titanium (silver asteroids) until you have enough for a basic ship with a titanium core
2: Sell your excessive ore to get enough space cash to hire a captain for your ship, make sure you have enough crew for all mining turrets.
3: Exit the ship, select it with middle mouse, press F to give it orders and tell it to mine ;)
You can even give your ships new orders while you are in a different system. In the Galaxy Map menu you can select a ship you want to give orders to, then queue orders by holding down the shift key. This way you can for example tell a ship to move into a far away quadrant by queuing move commands and then queue a final mining command - this way the ship will start mining automatically on arrival.
