Our journey through the Shadow-Cursed Lands continues as we uncover more of Shar’s influence. Within the Sharran Sanctuary, we receive a dark blessing before venturing deeper into the cursed wilderness. Along the way, we meet Arabella, now imbued with mysterious new powers as she searches for her missing parents.
A fateful encounter with Raphael reveals an infernal proposition — a request to eliminate one of his rivals. Yet our curiosity leads us instead to the House of Healing, where the deranged Doctor Malus Thorm performs grotesque experiments in the name of “medicine.” The once-holy halls are now filled with twisted remnants of his victims, and the air hums with suffering and dark faith.
After exploring the hospital and its morgue, we unearth treasures left behind by the fallen and battle undead Kuo-Toa, before finally reaching Level 8 and preparing for what lies ahead.
