♫Battle Theme from Princess Maker 3, SNES Arrangement - NintendoComplete
This is my arrangement of Masahiro Kajiwara's battle theme from Gainax's 1997 game Princess Maker: Yumemiru Yousei, which was released in English as Princess Maker 3: Fairy Tales Come True in 2017 for Windows (Steam) and in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. I have arranged it for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES console.
You wouldn't know it just by the looks of them, but from the very first game in the series, the Princess Maker games have always have some seriously intense encounter themes. It seems a bit strange that a child-rearing simulation game would have battle music at all, but then again, the fact that such a genre exists is already a bit strange to begin with.
I didn't have a readily accessible copy of PM3 kicking around to grab footage from, so the clips are taken from my playthrough of the mid-90s Dos PC version of Princess Maker 2.
I hope you guys like the arrangement!
They really are cool titles, and the first three are available in English. If you like sims, I'd totally recommend trying one of these super quirky games.
I've also arranged the battle theme from the first game. You can find that here:
