This video shows how a MIDI controller like the Behringer X Touch One can be used as a hardware console to operate software like the DaVinci Resolve video editor or any other software for that matter. We make use of AutoHotKey to translate incoming MIDI messages into the keypresses that are the shortcuts the DaVinci reacts on.
