Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Not Without Sacrifice - Finale
2Okay everyone this is it! Final episode to Bloodstained! A much shorter journey than God of War that's for sure. I hope this is a nice length for a game like this. I was planning on keeping it beneath 40 episodes and it worked out. I also have plans to do much shorter games in the future to have as a random upload to keep the channel a little sporadic.
I'm so glad you all decided to join me on these adventures. I really can't thank you enough. I always tell everyone there's no way I ever expect you to watch every single video. But I see you out there throwing the likes and leaving comments to it feels nice. When I first started I really didn't think anyone would watch. Now that I see almost 150 of you I feel I'm going in the right direction. Also approaching 70 followers on twitch. So I'm happy to see the feedback on the streams as well. You're all too amazing and it doesn't go unnoticed!
So I know it seemed like I was frustrated a lot in this series. And you're not wrong. I don't like losing progress and I really don't like not being able to figure out where to go. I think all of these new games have sugarcoated it for me over the years. I forgot what it's like to actually have to use your brain and think about what to do. I would always forget about my surroundings so I couldn't ever remember where things were. Thankfully they had those markers on the map so I could use them for hints.
That aside I really enjoyed the game a lot. Mad shoutout to Koji Igarashi and everyone over at ArtPlay. I couldn't be happy enough for this to come to fruition. I said it in the first episode that I was shown this game on Game Grumps originally. They had been playing Curse of the Moon which is the 2-D homage to old school Castlevania.I watched Arin play it and was hooked immediately and when he mentioned it was from the creator of Symphony of the Night I had to get it. I explained in an earlier episode why that game means a lot to me. If you're interested in seeing me play it on the channel I'd be glad to play again.
Overall great game you guys it took me back to the old days and I really had fun. I would suggest getting it especially if you're any form of a Metroidvania fan. I will play through it again for sure definitely now that I know what I'm doing, I hope you all enjoyed the series much as I did. And I look forward to seeing you in the next one. I announced it already but I'll post it here too just in case. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be taking over the every day spot. And I cannot wait to show you that one. I already played the previous two so I don't really see the need to revisit honestly. But anyway I appreicate you all very much thank you for the kind words and helping me get this journey out there.
