This Borderlands 3 game guide video shows an easy and safe method of defeating Katagawa Ball boss as a part of the Space-Laser tag main mission. This method works for all character classes.

The best way to easily avoid all of the boss's attacks is to find a good hiding place on the arena. You can pick the same spot as we did in our video or find one of the many other tight places. The main objective is that the hiding spot must be small enough for the sphere not be able to reach you. This will allow you to easily hide whenever the boss decides to begin with a new series of attacks. Go out of hiding as soon as it's safe to inflict some damage. You can complete the fight using any weapons, however some of them might be more effective than others. It's good to start the boss battle with full ammo so that you'll make sure you don't run out and won't have to leave cover to reach some of the ammo chests.
