In v0.5.14a, money returns from SMOD but with several upgrades. Instead of the power pill, the money has a nice new Breencoin model by GeneralEcchhi. There are small silver coins worth 1 credit, and larger ones worth 10 credits. Enemies can drop coins when killed via cvar.


Also a new entity called item_shop_item has been added which allows the player to spend money to purchase items/weapons/etc...You can declare stock, its name, and how much it costs. When its sold out, it will turn transparent.
