Can You Beat Fallout 3 Without Breaking The Law?
Time for the Capital Wasteland to get some... capital punishment.
*TIMES WHERE I MAY HAVE BROKEN THE LAW*
- Naming myself "Asskick". Is it illegal to name your baby an expletive? And if so, wouldn't it be my Dad breaking the law, not me?
- Shooting the BB Gun downstairs. The Overseer says that shooting guns isn't allowed in the Vault under normal circumstances. Does this mean I'm breaking the law by shooting my BB Gun? Of course, I'm a child, and my Dad's telling me it's ok, so that might let me off the hook.
- Skipping the G.O.A.T. Test. Does this count as academic fraud?
- Taking Lucas Simms' things. I took his stuff so I had a way to stop Burke from running loose after murdering the sheriff and threatening me while he was still armed. But should I have returned Lucas' things back to Harden, his son? Not sure if "looting a corpse" in self-defense is a thing. Harden and none of the other citizens of Megaton seemed to mind, though.
- Taking Burke's things. I took them as evidence for the murder case.
- Killing the Scrapper in Point Lookout. I did just waltz into his shack without permission, so it may be a case of trespassing and murder. However, Scrappers are mutated humans that attack on sight and are generally completely insane, so maybe it IS self-defense, especially if the Scrappers don't have a legitimate claim to their property.
- Tormenting the residents of Tranquility Lane. Since it's just a computer simulation, nobody actually gets hurt. However, would this count as a form of psychological torture, harassment, bullying, etc.?
- Going against the Enclave. Is going against the Enclave's wishes sedition against the U.S. Government? Or are the Enclave so far removed from the U.S. Government that they classify as a separate entity?
