94Soviet Mission 4 MAKING HEAT in Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, this is a fourth mission in the fan Soviet Campaign made by DieSystem. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
A way easier mission than a previous one, you might notice a small similarity to the Mental Omega mission called Hysteria at the beginning. Making Heat takes place in Spain and your objective is to to destroy the Alien Clonning Facilities to your north in a heavily defended base. Unfortunately they've also captured some Soviet technology to the east, but these are just basic infantry and Rhinos that they can produce. Mission begins with some Typhoons at your disposal to clear the waters from Boomer Submarines, approach them one by one and it will be an easy task. Once waters are cleared and Sub Pen has been destroyed, reinforcements with Soviet units will arrive to clear the shore from Alien presence. Disable the power if possible to do without losses, once it's clear an Amphibious Transport with MCV will arrive to start a basebuilding phase. There are multiple Tech buildings that you can capture just at start - 4 Oil Derricks, Machine Shop and Tech Airfield, capture them and defend. You might place some bunkers close to them in case of incoming attacks, especially Flaks might be crucial against annoying Saucers, yikes. You can do a lot with your Dreadnoughts, reveal the terain with Spy Plane and just bombard as much Power Plants as possible before push to disable them. When they are out of power this mission becomes a piece of cake, with all Gattling Cannons and Psychic Towers offline you can simply roll over them.
