Chapter 4 - Sub-Zero and Scorpion - Fire and Ice (Story Mode)
3CHAPTER 4: After finishing your time playing as Liu Kang and Kung Lao, we join Sub-Zero and Scorpion, now allies, as they try to take out a Cyber Lin Kuei factory. With the cyber Lin Kuei facilities raised from the ashes, we come to see Sub-Zero and Scorpion now working together to take down this new version of an old enemy.
They head inside the factory through a side entrance to try and shut it down from the inside. They happen upon a gruesome scene of ninja being mutilated into robot hybrids, and Cyrax and a mysterious servant of Kronika walk into the room as they hide.
They attack and the strange woman reveals herself to be Sub-Zero's former pupil Frost. They duke it out, and then face Cyrax and defeat him as well. Suddenly another ally of Kronika and Sub-Zero's former brother Noob Saibot shows up to get his face kicked in. Finally after taking down Sektor as well, the two are able to reverse the control over Cyrax and he takes one for the team, shutting down the facility.
The scene jumps to within Kronika's abode, where Geras walks with a young Erron Black and Kano. The three come to Sektor's body, where Geras asks if he can be restored and replicated, to which Kano agrees for the right price. Older Kano appears, informing them that their price will be paid in Kronika's new world.
The story shifts back to Earthrealm, where Jacqui Briggs, unable to make contact with her father Jax, wonders how he's doing. The same is happening to Jax as well as he stares at his phone. Kronika appears before him, promising a better life she intended for both him and his daughter, drawing him into her service (BOOOO JAX!).
