So this is a thing. Thanks for clicking on it.
Code of Mars is an RPG for mobile devices (android) that I worked on in my spare time. Originally intended to be a smaller scale pseudo-educational game for I.T. students, a sort of school project, it evolved into whatever you want to call it now. A relatively small 15-chapter story about the struggles of a continent abandoned by magic and thrust forward by technology. Naturally I took inspiration from Final Fantasy games, however along the way, other games started influencing the process to the point where I can't exactly name them. It still features various elements in computer science theory, which I can only hope isn't too overwhelming since barely any focus testing has been done. Trying to balance learning and fun in a game is obnoxiously challenging to the point where I almost just scrapped everything halfway through. That said, the game is in beta, and that's why I've uploaded this small trailer. I would be eternally grateful to anyone willing to pick up the beta off of google play and give it a go. And more importantly, tell me all your problems with it. From problems with game performance to flat-out saying it's too boring or even just contain incorrect educational information. This is my first time attempting anything resembling an old-school RPG, and the content was overwhelming enough that you could say I was in a rush so that it didn't take up too much of my current life. There may be bugs, performance has not been tested across a variety of devices, but these are just things I'd like all your targeted complaints about. When and where you have a problem.
Thanks to any of you who have read this far, and are even considering checking it out. It would surpass my expectations for anyone to be intrigued by a random mobile RPG with formal I.T. elements.
Leave a comment if you so desire on anything about this title, and I'll get back to you. For those of you that do, feel free to suggest anything that you want changed in the game. Yes, changed. I may not be able to do something like rewrite the whole story, but if you want something as complex as adding some more power to a character, or something as simple as renaming a character or npc as yourself, go ahead and request it. Things can happen in beta. And the more people shouting orders at me the better, I say.

Code of Mars is and will forever be a free deal. My contribution to the universe, regardless of who sees it. An abridged walkthrough may be made available on youtube just so the chronicle is at least out there for those who literally do not have time for these shenanigans. Thank you to all those at opengameart.org for your amazing creations. I'm still in the process of getting all your credits down.

Code of Mars is powered by Phaser.

P.S. I'm sorry about the camera. It will be fixed to follow the player as soon as performance and lag issues are resolved.
