After getting all of the 4 Boss Keys, you're automatically taken to Gem Stone Valley to meet up with Oxide for the race for the fate of the planet!

Being the final boss, Oxide is still trickier to fight compared to other bosses. First off, he still cheats by getting a head start before the starting lights turn green!

Then, from there, he uses every power up in the game that he can drop behind himself in different parts of the track. First, he throws back Green Beakers, them TNT crates, then dumps Nitros, then Bombs, then Red Beakers. And so on!

Once again, stay in front of him if you want to dodge all of that, but it's not always easy to do. However, if you're behind him, he gets staggered by your attacks harder than he used to.

After beating Oxide, he simply can't believe that you did, so he'll spare the Earth for now.

HOWEVER! To make up for this, he gives you a new challenge, and that is to get all of the Relics throughout Adventure Mode, then race him again for keeps. Now the true tests begin!

Remember the character epilogues from getting the True Ending of the PS1 version? You can now just read up on them from beating the game once instead of twice. Quite a few of them got updated, such as Coco changing from running an online dating service to running an online gaming service.

This goes through every playable racer that was in the PS1 version, except for Fake Crash and Penta Penguin, but still including what's supposed to happen to Oxide after you beat him for good.

Somehow or another, the Trophy Girls' epilogues weren't shown, or even updated here. Probably because Ami's included a line where she wanted to become a racer herself. Lo and behold, her and the rest of her friends did in Nitro-Fueled as a part of Tawna's Nitro Squad!

After the epilogues, you get a REALLY long credits sequence, since Naughty Dog's credits were originally shown alongside the epilogues in the original. This time, you get credits for Beenox, Activision, and even other developers, such as Vicarious Visions (the developers of Crash Nitro Kart and N. Sane Trilogy), Toys for Bob (the developers of Spyro Reignited Trilogy), and even a shoutout to Naughty Dog, themselves, and even a Special Thanks to the four Sony managers that the four Trophy Girls are based on!

This playthrough, simply put, is very far from over. Time to get those Relics, and everything else that will lead me to getting them all, such as CTR Tokens, and Gems!

Lastly, it doesn't show here, but beating Oxide for the first time FINALLY LETS YOU PLAY AS HIM!
