The first of a kind for Microsoft's brand new flight simulator - a fully-featured commercial jet add-on produced by well-known flight sim developer, Aerosoft.
This add-on brings the CRJ-550 and CRJ-700 aircraft to your copy of the Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release in glorious detail. No expense has been spared with the development of this aircraft and it has been faithfully re-created to be as accurate and realistic as possible.
The development is entirely native and built from the ground-up for the new simulator - nothing has been ported over from previous legacy Microsoft Flight Simulator versions (such as FSX).
Existing CRJ models and data from previous FSX/P3D releases were used but they were completely remastered and built again to be native to this new simulator package. All of the modeling and 3D modeling has been based on data and photos of the real-world original aircraft.
The pack includes high-resolution textures utilizing PBR (Physically based rendering) technologies available in MSFS and they look fantastic - sun reflections and shadowing really bring the aircraft to life in countless different lighting and time-of-day scenarios.
The aircraft product has been developed to utilize all of the features available in the new sim for a realistic representation of the CRJ. Such features also include rain effects and other advanced features made available to developers and in the SDK.
3D modeling includes smooth and fluid animations for countless moving parts such as wing flaps, landing gear, and passenger and cargo doors.
A fully animated and realistic 3D VC (virtual cockpit) has been included based on the real-world CRJ.
The flight model has been recreated as accurately as possible using the new "aerodynamic model" available in the new sim - it's more accurate and some even say getting close to the dynamics of X-Plane.
The pack includes two models; the CRJ-550 and the CRJ-700 along with 9 different liveries/repaints based on real-world aircraft operations.
Also, most importantly, for avid flight sim enthusiasts - a full FMC/FMS is included based on the Honeywell ProLine Avionics system for an accurate representation of the aircraft and for some super-realistic flight simulator flights. Also included is February/March 2021 (AIRAC 2102) nav data which can be updated with Navigraph data. Finally, a full heads-up guidance system is included.

A full flight manual along with eight different sub-manuals are included. Also included in the product is fully detailed step-by-step documentation so you are comfortable and knowledgeable when attempting your first flight.
The sound-pack included is accurate and true to life based on the real-world aircraft sounds using Wwise.
